  1. I’m very pleased to see your letter published in the Guardian today. I’ve been corresponding with Global Witness and relevant members of the Guardian team too, sending them my own comments along with links to your work and to that of tortillconsal. It’s worrying that GW aren’t reconsidering their stance but maybe the Guardian is now listening.

    1. Thanks, Alice. Yes both the original GW work and the follow up article in the Guardian are of concern, especially since there appear to have been no recent developments on the interoceanic canal, so it is difficult to know why the Amnesty International report received the coverage it did.
